The Kitchen

The kitchen at Elford Village Hall is a well-equipped, practical space designed for both food preparation and cooking. It features a range of commercial-grade appliances, including:

Full range of crockery, cutlery and utensils

This makes it ideal for catering events, whether you’re preparing food on-site or serving pre-prepared dishes. The kitchen is conveniently accessible from both the Jubilee Room and the Main Hall, supporting smooth service during events.
The Bar
​
The Bar is conveniently located with access from both the kitchen and the main hall, and features electronic shutters for efficient and discreet service. The Hall is also licenced to sell alcohol at the discretion of the premises supervisor.
It includes:

Glasses (by arrangement)

We work with an external licensed bar provider who operates the bar for all events. They can supply a full range of drinks, including draft beer and optics for spirits, ensuring professional bar service tailored to your needs.
If a licensed bar is not required, the bar area can instead be used to serve tea, coffee (including use of the coffee machine), and light refreshments, offering flexible use of the space for any event. You can see the licences bar provider on the partners page.
The Stage

Elford Village Hall features a charming raised stage area, perfect for performances, presentations and live music. Set within the main hall, the stage provides an attractive focal point for a wide range of events from community theatre and concerts to weddings, parties, and award evenings.

Equipped with side access, curtains, and adaptable lighting, the stage can easily be styled to suit your occasion. Whether you’re hosting a formal ceremony, a festive performance, or a fun-filled disco, it offers the ideal space to showcase your event in style.

The area can be dressed with backdrops, decorations, or display equipment to match your theme. It’s also ideal for DJs, entertainers, or speakers who need a clear and elevated view of the room.

The Garden

To the rear of the Hall lies a beautifully maintained garden area, featuring a spacious lawn and a large paved terrace, the perfect outdoor extension of the hall’s facilities. The garden’s orientation ensures it receives plenty of sunshine during the summer months, making it a welcoming space for both daytime and early evening events At the heart of the garden is a charming timber gazebo, ideal for a variety of uses including:

Surrounded by mature trees and well-kept borders, the garden offers a picturesque setting that enhances any event, from relaxed garden parties to formal celebrations. With direct access from the Main Hall and Jubilee Room, the gardens provide a seamless indoor-outdoor experience for guests.
The Terrace

Our spacious outdoor terrace provides the perfect setting for open-air events and social gatherings. Situated just beside the main garden, it offers a clean, paved area surrounded by greenery ideal for enjoying the fresh village air in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

The terrace is a popular choice for outside catering, with plenty of space for barbecues, pig roasts, and food stations, making it a great addition to parties and celebrations of all kinds. In the warmer months, it’s perfect for evening wedding receptions, family get-togethers, and summer functions, allowing guests to mingle and dine outdoors in a charming, private setting.
