Make your day extra special with our exclusive package which includes the use of the whole venue (minus The Studio). Whole-day hire gives you access to all rooms and facilities, including the kitchen, bar and table hire for the whole weekend.

Booking Terms​

To secure your date, a damage and breach deposit is required. Full details of our deposit arrangements are provided in the electronic hiring agreement during the booking process. Your booking will only be secured once the deposit has been received.

Please note that the full balance of the hire charge is due no later than 4 weeks prior to the date of your event.

• For partial day/sessional bookings - £50.00

• For whole day bookings - £100.00

• For weekend or bookings for over 100 guests - £250.00

Cancellation Fees

• More than 1 month’s notice – No charge

• 1 week to 4 weeks notice – 50% of the hire charge

• 1 week or less notice – 100% of the hire charge

Where applicable, cancellation charges will be deducted from the booking deposit. If the cancellation charge exceeds the deposit paid, the balance will remain payable. Elford Village Hall reserves the right to retain part or all of the booking deposit to cover cancellation charges

 

Additional Time Charges

Please ensure your booking includes sufficient time for setting up and clearing away. If your event runs beyond the agreed hire period, additional time will be charged at £15 per 15 minutes (or part thereof).

This charge helps cover additional running costs and the inconvenience caused to our volunteers, who kindly give their time to open and close Elford Village Hall. Any additional time charges will be deducted from your deposit.

Elford Resident Discount

Residents of Elford are eligible for a reduced hire rate at Elford Village Hall. If you have an Elford postal address, please complete your booking as usual, and then contact us to apply the special resident rate. We’re proud to offer this discount as part of our commitment to supporting the local community.”

Regular Hirer Discount

​

Groups that use Elford Village Hall on an ongoing or recurring basis may be eligible for a reduced hire rate. If you’re planning regular bookings, simply make your booking as normal and let us know your intended schedule, we’ll then confirm the appropriate regular hirer rate for you. We’re pleased to support clubs, classes and community groups who make the hall part of their routine and help keep it active week after week.​
